      Many Ways to Enjoy the Tranquility

      The Lower Zambezi National Park lies opposite Mana Pools on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River. The beauty of this park is in its state of absolute wildness. Exploring this park can be done by canoe, on foot, vehicle and power boat. When you are at water level on a boat or in a canoe, the animals are less likely to run off in a hurry. The park covers three different habitats: the river is overhung with a thick riverine fringe, while further inland is a floodplain fringed with mopane forest and interspersed with winterthorn trees, all of this with the Zambezi escarpment forming a beautiful backdrop.
