This African safari combines some of Africa's most well-known wildlife destinations: the Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti, the Okavango Delta and the Victoria Falls. Start in Tanzania and go on safari in the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest volcanic caldera. With your safari guide you may find buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, black rhino, elephant, cheetah, leopard, lion and gazelle, to name a few of the resident wildlife. Next, head to the wide expanse of the Serengeti National Park for safari activities and more wildlife sightings in one of the oldest ecosystems on earth. After your safaris in the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti, you'll see another side of Africa on the white sandy beaches and clear waters of the Quirimbas Archipelago in Mozambique. Here you can enjoy a number of aquatic activities, discover the island's wildlife, or simply relax on the beach. From Mozambique, head to the Okavango Delta in Botswana, one of the finest African safari wildlife parks, offering sanctuary to abundant herds of elephant, sable, giraffe, as well predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog and hyena. Conclude your African safari experience at the stunning Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Itinerary

Days 1 - 2

Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania

Arrive on Day 1 into Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. Transfer by road to the Ngorongoro Crater and check in to your lodge perched on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater itself. Take in views over the crater floor which is home to herds of buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, black rhino, elephant, cheetah, leopard, lion and gazelle. Take a jeep safari into the Ngorongoro Crater to see the abundance of African wildlife.

Days 3 - 4

Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

On Day 3, transfer by road to the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti National Park lies between the Ngoronogoro Crater and Lake Victoria and adjoins Kenya's Masai Mara. The Serengeti's vast grasslands are part of the great wildebeest migration and home to zebras, gazelles, giraffes, buffalos, impalas, spotted hyenas, jackals and many bird varieties. It is also to superb area for seeing predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs. Your safari lodge is your base from which you will take jeep safaris out into the Serengeti to see the vast amount of wildlife.

Day 5

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Today, fly by scheduled charter to Dar es Salaam. Overnight at local hotel and prepare for your continuing adventure to Mozambique.

Days 6 - 8

Quirimbas Archipelago, Mozambique

On Day 6, fly by scheduled charter to the Quirimbas Archipelago in Mozambique and Vamizi Island. Vamizi Island is a premier location for snorkeling, scuba diving and big game fishing for sailfish, marlin, tuna, sharks, swordfish and many reef species. It is also a significant nesting area for sea turtles. Miles of untouched white sand beaches are the idea place to relax during your safari vacation. A visit to the island's interior gives you the opportunity to see tropical flowers, monkeys, giant coconut crabs, butterflies and over 112 species of birds.

Day 9

Johannesburg, South Africa

Today fly by scheduled charter to Dar es Salaam. Connect with a commercial flight to Johannesburg, South Africa. Overnight at a local hotel and prepare for the next leg of your adventure to Botswana.

Days 10 - 11

Okavango Delta, Botswana

On Day 10, fly by commercial air to Maun, Botswana before taking a scheduled charter to the Okavango Delta. The Okavango Delta is flooded anually by rainwater draining into the delta from far off Angola. This lush habitat supports a diverse wildlife population including wild dog, cheetah, leopard, lion, elephant, buffalo, hippo, giraffe, hyena, zebra, kudo, lechwe and sable and roan antelope. Track these animals in Land Rover jeep safaris with experienced naturalists.

Day 12

Victoria Falls, Zambia

Today, fly by scheduled charter to Kasane, Botswana. Transfer by road and boat to Livingstone, Zambia and the famed Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls is at the center of a hive of activities including crafts markets, bungee jumping, white water rafting, fishing on the Zambezi River, helicopter or airplane flights over the falls and the Mosi O Tunya National Park, visits to local villages and more.

Day 13

Departure

Today, transfer to Livingstone Airport and depart on your international flights home.
